Ferry Travel along the Famous Railroad

CCircum-Baikal railway, the “Golden buckle” of Russia is a unique monument of engineering art, known all over the world. The intensity of engineering structures of Circum-Baikal railway is unmatched in Russia, and is one of the first places in the world – the number of tunnels, stone galleries, bridges and viaducts is amazing.

In addition, the Circum-Baikal railway runs along the shore of lake Baikal, which allows you to admire the magnificent views of the lake. Excursion on the ship “Barguzin” will allow you to see the Circum-Baikal railway from the water, as well as to take walks during three stops-on Cape Tolsty (fat), in the Shumikha village and on the Cape Polovinniy (half).
Route: Irkutsk – Cape Tolsty – Shumikha village – Cape Polovinniy – Irkutsk
Navigation period: June 2 – September 30, each Saturday and Sunday (in July to August there will be additional route on Thursdays)
Departure point: “Raketa” dock, “Barguzin” ferry
