Evenk people are the native inhabitants of Siberia engaged in reindeer husbandry. The Evenk village was reconstructed in Taltsy. Now tourists can see a tent made of logs and bark, labaz (a warehouse for storing food), drying devices, fishing nets, and much more.

The village is situated a bit closer to Irkutsk than Listvyanka. There is no problem getting to the town for 40 minutes.

The way by car takes about 40 minutes.
Taxi service costs about 2000 rubles one way.
It is not difficult to reach the village by public transport. Get a seat in a minibus on the Central market and ask the driver to stop in Taltsy.
Local drivers always stop in Taltsy by requirement. At the beginning of your route, say «Taltsy» to the driver, that is all! The fare is 120 rubles, journey time from Irkutsk is about 40 minutes.
You can get to Taltsy from the Bus station also. Buy tickets at the box office in that case.
