Tour to the Chersky Peak
Chersky Peak opens its doors to tourists in the height of summer. Climbing the mountain begins in June and continues until the end of August; during other periods, the summit is quite cool.
The Chersky Peak tour can be completed in one day, but we recommend a two-day tour. This will allow you enough time to spend the night at the meteorological station, hike to the Podkomarnaya River, see the Devil’s Gate, and swim in the route’s main attraction — a heart-shaped lake!
The climb does not require a high level of physical fitness, but you should bring something to eat, comfortable shoes, and a willingness to admire the beauty of Siberian nature!

Chersky Peak route description
The route begins in the town of Slyudyanka. Here you can see local attractions, such as the mineral museum and the marble railway station.
Then, next to a river called, believe it or not, «Slyudyanka», the route to our peak begins. Passing a marble quarry at the very beginning, a few hours later you’ll find yourself at the meteorological station, where you can rest and recharge before the second stage of the ascent.
The continue of the route depends entirely on the tour organizers’ imagination. They can offer a tour of local natural attractions, an ATV ride through the mountains and plains, a tasting of national cuisine at your overnight accommodation, an introduction to local customs, a tour of Slyudyanka, and other interesting activities!
A tour to Chersky Peak can last up to five days, including visits to other routes, such as the Circum-Baikal Railway. The price of such a combined tour can exceed 40,000 rubles.
